These Terms apply to all visitors, users, customers, and anyone who accesses or uses our website.

By using this website, you confirm that:

  • the information provided by you is true, accurate, and complete

  • you are legally capable of entering into binding transactions

  • you will not misuse the website or use it for unlawful purposes

  • you will not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with website functionality, or transmit harmful code

BLACKTAIL reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or block access to the website if misuse, suspicious activity, or policy violation is detected.

3. Product Nature

BLACKTAIL products are released as limited-quantity fashion and lifestyle products. Certain products may be part of limited drops, fixed-quantity releases, or edition-based concepts.

Some products may include serial numbering, drop identity, limited quantity identifiers, or other brand-specific details.

Once a product or size is sold out, it may not be restocked. If a product returns in any form, BLACKTAIL may communicate it separately through the website or official channels.

4. Product Display and Accuracy

We try to display product images, colors, textures, sizes, prints, and finishes as accurately as possible.

However, actual product appearance may vary slightly due to:

  • screen settings

  • lighting

  • photography

  • editing

  • device display differences

  • fabric behavior

  • print or manufacturing variations

Such minor differences will not automatically be treated as product defects.

Customers are advised to carefully review the product description, size chart, fit details, fabric details, and product images before placing an order.

5. Pricing

All prices displayed on the website are in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise.

Prices may change at any time without prior notice. BLACKTAIL reserves the right to update pricing, offers, discounts, product availability, or product details at its discretion.

In case of a pricing error, technical error, or incorrect product information, BLACKTAIL reserves the right to cancel, reject, or modify the affected order after informing the customer where possible.

6. Product Availability

Product availability is limited and may change at any time.

Adding a product to cart does not reserve the product. A product is confirmed only after successful order placement and order confirmation.

For high-demand drops, stock may sell out quickly. BLACKTAIL does not guarantee availability of any product, size, or variant until the order is confirmed.

7. Order Acceptance

Placing an order on the website does not automatically guarantee acceptance.

BLACKTAIL reserves the right to accept, reject, cancel, hold, or limit any order for genuine reasons, including but not limited to:

  • suspected fraud or suspicious activity

  • incorrect pricing or technical error

  • stock unavailability

  • incomplete or inaccurate customer information

  • payment failure

  • COD verification failure

  • shipping or courier serviceability issue

  • repeated failed deliveries or high-risk order behavior

  • operational, compliance, or business reasons

If an order is cancelled after payment, BLACKTAIL will initiate an appropriate refund or resolution as per our policies.

8. Payments

BLACKTAIL accepts prepaid payments through the payment methods made available on the website.

Cash on Delivery is available on eligible orders within India, subject to order value, location, courier serviceability, verification, and BLACKTAIL’s internal order checks.

Available payment methods may include online payment gateways, UPI, cards, net banking, wallets, Cash on Delivery, or any other method shown at checkout.

BLACKTAIL does not store complete card numbers, UPI PINs, CVV, banking passwords, or full payment credentials on its own servers.

9. Cash on Delivery

COD is available on eligible orders only.

For COD orders:

  • customer name, phone number, and address must be accurate

  • BLACKTAIL may verify the order before dispatch

  • customers must remain available to receive the delivery

  • refusal to accept COD delivery may lead to account/order restrictions

  • COD charges may apply if mentioned at checkout

  • repeated failed COD orders may result in COD being disabled for the customer

BLACKTAIL reserves the right to cancel COD orders if verification fails or if the order appears suspicious, incomplete, or high-risk.

10. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping, dispatch timelines, delivery estimates, courier delays, preorder timelines, failed delivery, and RTO-related matters are governed by our Shipping Policy.

General shipping promise:

  • orders are usually dispatched within 48 hours after order confirmation

  • delivery usually takes 3–7 working days after dispatch, depending on location and courier movement

  • delays may occur due to courier issues, public holidays, weather, remote locations, high-volume drops, or other external conditions

Tracking details will be shared after dispatch wherever available.

11. Preorders and Special Drops

Some products may be released as preorders, early access drops, limited drops, or special campaigns.

Preorder products may have longer dispatch and delivery timelines. The expected timeline will be mentioned on the product page or communicated by BLACKTAIL where applicable.

By placing a preorder, you agree to the timeline and conditions mentioned for that specific product.

12. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

Returns, exchanges, refunds, store credit, reverse pickup, opening video requirements, product condition requirements, and return charges are governed by our Return, Exchange & Refund Policy.

As a general rule:

  • returns are available on eligible products

  • exchanges are available on eligible products

  • product must be unused, unwashed, unworn, unaltered, with original tags and packaging

  • damaged, wrong, torn, missing, or defective product claims require a clear opening video

  • size exchanges depend on stock availability

  • return shipping, packaging, COD, or handling charges may apply for customer-side return or exchange requests

  • approved refunds are processed only after verification

If the issue is verified as a wrong, damaged, torn, missing, or defective product caused before delivery, BLACKTAIL will support the customer with a suitable resolution as per policy.

13. Opening Video Requirement

For damaged, wrong, torn, missing, or defective product claims, a clear opening / unboxing video is mandatory.

The video should clearly show:

  • sealed package before opening

  • opening process

  • product received

  • visible issue or defect

  • shipping label or order details where possible

Claims without a clear opening video may be rejected.

This requirement helps protect both the customer and BLACKTAIL from false, incomplete, or unverifiable claims.

14. Customer Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch.

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation is not possible. In such cases, the return or exchange process will apply after delivery, subject to eligibility and policy conditions.

For cancellation requests, customers must contact BLACKTAIL support as soon as possible.

15. Seller Cancellation

BLACKTAIL reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order at any time for genuine reasons, including but not limited to:

  • fraud prevention

  • stock unavailability

  • pricing or technical error

  • incomplete customer details

  • courier serviceability issues

  • failed payment

  • COD verification failure

  • suspicious order activity

  • operational or compliance reasons

If payment has already been received for a cancelled order, BLACKTAIL will initiate an appropriate refund or resolution as per applicable policy.

16. Failed Delivery and RTO

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery details and being available to receive the shipment.

If delivery fails due to incorrect address, unreachable customer, refusal to accept delivery, repeated failed attempts, or non-cooperation, the shipment may be marked as RTO.

RTO is not treated as a return request.

In such cases, additional shipping, COD, packaging, handling, or re-shipping charges may apply.

BLACKTAIL may refuse future COD orders for customers with repeated failed deliveries or refused shipments.

17. Personal Use and Resale

BLACKTAIL products are intended for personal use.

Unauthorized commercial resale, bulk resale, misuse of brand identity, or misrepresentation of BLACKTAIL products is not permitted without written approval from BLACKTAIL.

BLACKTAIL reserves the right to cancel suspicious bulk or resale-oriented orders.

18. Intellectual Property

All content on the website, including brand name, logo, product names, designs, images, graphics, text, copy, layout, visuals, videos, and other materials, belongs to BLACKTAIL or its respective owners.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, use, imitate, or commercially exploit any BLACKTAIL content without written permission.

Unauthorized use of BLACKTAIL’s brand identity, product visuals, campaign material, website content, or design language may result in legal action.

19. User Content and Reviews

If you submit reviews, photos, videos, comments, testimonials, feedback, or other content to BLACKTAIL through the website, WhatsApp, email, social media, or any other channel, you allow BLACKTAIL to use such content for customer support, service improvement, marketing, social media, advertising, or brand communication, unless you specifically request otherwise.

You must not submit content that is false, abusive, unlawful, defamatory, misleading, infringing, or harmful.

BLACKTAIL reserves the right to remove or not publish any user-submitted content at its discretion.

20. Offers, Discounts, and Promotions

BLACKTAIL may run offers, discounts, early access events, limited-time campaigns, or promotional codes from time to time.

Such offers may be changed, withdrawn, limited, or cancelled at any time.

Discounts, offers, or promotional codes may not be combined unless clearly stated. BLACKTAIL reserves the right to cancel orders where offer misuse, coupon abuse, or suspicious activity is detected.

21. Website Errors and Technical Issues

BLACKTAIL does not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from technical issues.

We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, modify product details, cancel affected orders, or temporarily suspend website functionality where necessary.

22. Third-Party Services

Our website may use third-party services such as payment gateways, courier partners, analytics tools, advertising platforms, communication tools, and social media platforms.

BLACKTAIL is not responsible for failures, downtime, privacy practices, payment errors, courier delays, or policies of third-party platforms, except where required by applicable law.

Customers should also review the terms and privacy policies of third-party services where applicable.

By using the website, placing an order, or sharing information with BLACKTAIL, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

24. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BLACKTAIL shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of the website, purchase of products, delivery delays, third-party service issues, or inability to use our services.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights available to consumers under applicable law.

25. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold BLACKTAIL harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your misuse of the website, violation of these Terms, breach of law, false information, fraudulent activity, or infringement of third-party rights.

26. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, courts located in Delhi shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, website use, or purchase of BLACKTAIL products.
